Starting a Journey of Discovery

When I was five, I wanted to be a paleontologist. My dad and I used to watch shows on the Discovery Channel. I remember watching the people finding T-Rex skeletons in South Dakota. I watched them transport the dinosaur bones to their lab and clean them using special technology. Then they would sell them to the museums, who would put them all together. I thought it was so cool to dig up the history of the past.

When I was six, I wanted to be a conservationist.

When I was ten, I wanted to be a computer scientist.

Today, at twelve, I’m still thinking about all the things I might want to be one day.

One Saturday morning, at breakfast, my mom said to me, “Arnav, you need to figure out what you are going to do with your life."

That’s where this blog comes in. I started this blog to find what I am truly passionate about. I only want to do something that I am truly passionate about.

I have decided to explore different professions and determine what I truly want to do when I grow up. Engineering, Conservation, Journalism, Law, Statistics, IT, Finance are just examples of some of the professions I am interested in. The only way I can gain the knowledge that I need to make a decision is to find out about different professions and the upside and downsides of each of them.

Another reason why I started this blog is to share the games I am coding. I am very interested in coding and wish to share all the games I have coded with all of you. I hope to get feedback that will help me improve my games and improve my abilities as a coder.

Thank you for reading!

Arnav
